We published the video of our latest special preview event in collaboration with Ascom Anacapri.


The Fog Eaters Band are: Andrea Pititto (guitar), Giorgio Pinna (harmonica, vocals), Oscar Abelli (drums). Special guest: Martin Iotti (vocals, bass).

The 'Fog Eaters' CD is produced by Kayman Records, italian blues rock label.

Fog Eaters is an Italian rockin 'the house quartet born in 2013 from the artistic union of professional musicians, constantly on tour in Europe and USA. Their repertoire features excerpts from the discographies of Jimmie Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirs, Ronnie Earl, Muddy Waters, Howlin 'Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, and unreleased tracks from the band. It has the undisputed protagonist of the electric blues of Chicago along with the Texas blues. Among the favorite genres of the quartet there is no lack of rock'n roll, boogie and swing of the '50s.

Giorgio Pinna


Harmonicist and singer, composer. Initially self-taught, literally impressed by the sounds of blues music and the great bluesman of the 70s, especially Muddy Waters. 

He started playing the harmonic blues from an early age. Later, he became interested in the study of harmonic singing and diplomacy. He started musical projects like Big Fat Mama, Poor Boys, H-Bomb. He has collaborated with Will Weldon Roberson, James Thompson and many others. He has played with his Bands in important exhibitions and places, both in Italy and in Italy. abroad, such as Ground Zero Blues Club (Clarksdale, USA), Italian Blues Challenge, Grand Gala of Music - Oscar del Blues (organized by Kayman Records), Save the Bluesiana (Austria), Free Blues Club (#Polonia) , Café Koster (Groningen, Holland), Fête de la Musique (Parigi).


Andrea Pititto


He learns from his father to play the rhythmic and solo guitar, he will accompany him immediately in different live performances. Then he will find in the blues sonorities of BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan, but also more contemporary, such as Anson Funderburgh and Shawn Pittman, the interpretative expressiveness that is most appropriate to him.

Passionate about Texas Blues, finds her musical identity in Fog Eaters Band, traveling with them all over Europe.


Oscar Abelli


Self-taught drummer and percussionist, he began his career in major theaters in 1974, with the Band Alta Marea and Vidya. Form the Qabala, the Far Drum, the Racso Trio and African Melody, the first interracial group in Parma. He will hold concerts with Larry Nocella and Massimo Donà at the Teatro Fenice in Venice, Giulio Visibelli, Mingiardi and supports Chet Baker in Parma with Vidya. He ranks in 1st place in the Venezuelan Hit collaborating with Hildegard Olivo in the vinyl "Tamourè" (Polygram editions). In 1989 he started playing Blues with Comi, Rogati and Mazzer. Participates in the International Blues Festival in Salaise (France), alongside names such as Carey Bell, Dixon, Louisiana Red. He plays with Taj Mahal, Dik Heckstall Smith, Mike Waller. He recorded with Tolo Marton the CD 'My Place is Close to You', which won the Jimi Hendrix Constest 1998, in New York. He has been in Tournée with Don McCalister Jr., Albert & Gage, he has participated in Festivals and Rassegne, won international prizes as the 1st Prize at the Great Gala of Music as 'Best Blues Drummer'. He opened the first edition of the #bluesincapri Festival, in Capri.

We saw him recently on the stage of the Teatro Regio in Parma with the show 'Cartoons!'.


Martin Iotti



Bass player and singer, great professional musician, known as producer for the 'Kayman Records' italian label, has been active for years on the Italian and European scene and in 2017 celebrates 30 years of career. Winner of the Best Bass Player Award in 2005 and 2006 at "The Great Gala of the Blues" he toured and recorded records with international artists such as Shawn Pittman, Andy Just, Texas Slim, Brian Templeton, Alex Schultz, Pat Wilder. In Italy he collaborates with the guitarist of Ligabue Mel Previte, and worked as a musician for the label Feelin Gond with whom he performed in the most important European festivals alongside the great American bluesmen. He is also a composer and author of soundtracks for documentary films: "Discoemilia", "Zythum" by the director A.Dallazzanna. He collaborated with Rai2 with the director Giuseppe Bertolucci on the film "When the river plays the blues". In 2006 Martin received the 'Blues in Villa' award for Best Afro-American Music Producer in Italy under the Kayman Records label. In recent years he has worked on the television program "Dolceamaro" conducted by Silvano Silvi, and with the American guitarist Jaime Scott Dolce.

'I declare my shadow' is a bipersonnel of Montserrat Diaz and Alexi Paladino. The two artists have been selected by the curator among the participants of one of the most renowned international awards: Celeste Prize, this year the official partner of "Italian Artists".
